EXCLUSIVE: Detectives To Interview Joe Francis About Nightclub Fight
Sept. 1 2009, Published 3:54 p.m. ET
Joe Francis will be getting a call from investigators regarding the incident involving Playboy playmate of the year Jayde Nicole outside West Hollywood nightspot Guys & Dolls August 28, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Det. Brian Nelson told RadarOnline.com exclusively Tuesday.
Nelson, who is handling the Joe Francis case, told RadarOnline.com he plans on reading the case file Tuesday and contacting all of the parties mentioned in it -- including the controversial Girls Gone Wild entrepreneur -- to schedule interviews.
Nelson told RadarOnline.com he doesn't have the restaurant surveillance video taken that night, where Nicole accused him of assaulting her from behind.
Nicole's rep issued a statement Monday saying "photographs and hospital records of Jayde's injuries and video footage of the attack" will show Francis' guilt in the incident, "and it is the hope of those who love and care about Jayde, that Mr. Francis will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
