The Pink Vado Pocket Video Cam: A Great Toy For A Better Cause

Its one thing to splurge on a new tech toy just cause you want it; its another when the money is going to a great cause.
Electronics manufacturers extraordinaire Creative said Wednesday that portions of the sales of the special edition pink Vado Pocket Video Cam -- a wallet-sized camera that holds up to two hours of high-quality video, and features one-touch uploading to YouTube and Photobucket -- will be forwarded to The Pink Agenda, a non-profit organization aimed at raising money for breast cancer care and research.
Creative's Steve Erickson said the company will forward the aforementioned proceeds because it "strongly believes in supporting the fight against breast cancer, as many of our employees have been personally affected by the disease through their mothers, wives, sisters and friends.”
“We are grateful for Creative’s support of our efforts to engage today’s generation to find tomorrow’s cure and hope that every time someone uses the Vado to capture special moments with their loved ones, they remember that their engagement in the search for a cure will allow the women we love to make memories for a long time to come," The Pink Agenda president Marisa Renee Lee said.
