Jaycee Dugard - Kidnappers May Have Used Second House
Aug. 30 2009, Published 5:27 a.m. ET
Investigators trying to unravel the horrific kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard by Phillip Garrido expanded their search on Saturday to include the house next door. The homeowner Damon Robinson had alerted cops to a bizarre discovery he'd made after he purchased the place three years ago. The house had sat empty for a time and the previous owner had hired Garrido to be the caretaker. Then Robinson moved in and found that "all the locks on my home were backward." You could lock people in but not lock them out, he said.

FBI and local police are now trying to determine if Garrido may have temporarily kept Jaycee and her two daughters at that second location.
Jaycee and the two daughters she had while in captivity, ages 11 and 15, are now at the home of Dugard's mother, Terry Probyn, outside of Los Angeles. Numerous experts including psychologists, medical doctors and education specialists have been lined up to help them in their recovery.
