FIRST ON RADAR: Reality TV Producers Cry “Foul” On The Casting Of Murder Suspect Ryan Jenkins

The producers of Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3, two VH1 reality shows that featured Ryan Jenkins as a contestant, are claiming they had no idea of his background when they cast him.
In a statement to RadarOnline.com, a spokesman for 51 Minds said: "51Minds was not aware of Ryan Jenkins’ record when it cast him on Megan Wants a Millionaire. Obviously, if the company had been given a full picture of his background, he would never have been allowed on the show."
“The company did have in place what it thought was a thorough vetting process that involved complete background checks by an outside company for all contestants on its shows. Clearly, the process did not work properly in this case. 51 Minds is investigating what went wrong and taking steps to ensure that this sort of lapse never occurs again.”
That vetting process missed at least two previous arrests for assault, one in Jenkins native Calgary and another against his murdered ex-wife Jasmine Fiore earlier this year in Las Vegas.
