Nicole Richie stops by for her “fix” a couple of times a week, Kim Kardashian loves it so much she tweets about it; and the Jonas Bros. drink them on tour to keep them in shape.

They’re all raving about a protein shake by Body Factory, which is known for its so-called “green protein” smoothie.

Made with “Body Fuel,” some of the over 100 ingredients include Alfafa, Apple, Astragalus, Barley Grass Juice, Black Currant Seed, Broccoli, Bromelain, Cabbage, Camu-Camu, Canola Oil, Carrot, Cayenne, Celery, Cherry, Chlorella, Chlorophyll, Echinacea, Folic Acid, Garlic, Guava, Inositol, Irish Moss, Kelp, Korean Ginseng, Lecithin, Mango, Oat Bran, Onion, Papaya, Parsley, Pineapple, Quinoa, Reishi Mushroom, Rice Bran, Rose Hips, Schisandra, Shitake Mushroom, Spanish Bee Pollen, Spinach, Spirulina, Sunflower Oil, Thyme, Tomato, Whey Protein Isolate, Whole Brown Rice, and Young Barley Leaf. Yum!

Boasting celeb clients like Jeremy Piven, Joel and Benji Madden, Justin Timberlake, and David Duchovny, we just had to try it.

Body Factory sent us over some shakes to try and these are some of the random comments from office-mates:

“I’m drinking it...I think it’s pretty good...does have a hint of peanut butter.” (KATIE)

“Tastes like cookies and looks like wheat grass, so there’s minimal guilt with lots of flavor. But all you had to do was tell me Nicole Richie drinks it and I would’ve pounded DW-40. “(MATT)

“Not gross, but not something that I would crave either.  As protein shakes go it defiantly has a better drinkability factor (as the BUD signs call it) then other shakes I have had”.  (KERRY)

Me? I loved that I felt full afterwards and hadn’t ingested a days worth of sugar in one shake. And I did have more energy later with no crash.
