An innovative minute-long video entry netted California man Jared Cicon a cool $10,000 in a clever contest sponsored by Skinit.com, a business that provides consumer personalization for electronic devices.
"We challenged anyone with a creative bent to make a 60-second commercial they would want to see on TV," Paul Buss, CEO of Skinit.com said. "Jared’s spot ... definitely captured the spirit of Skinit, and made us laugh at the same time."
The video depicts the family man ripping through his family's belongings -- even the unmentionables -- for materials for which to customize his tech gadgets.
"I have four kids, and everyone in the family was excited to get involved," Cicon said. "During the production process, I destroyed a baseball, a basketball jersey, a pair of jeans and even my wife’s underwear, but it was worth it!"
Definitely worth it -- $10,00 buys plenty of baseballs, jerseys, jeans and underwear.
