TV: Thursday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 1:08 p.m. ET
With most of the Thursday night staples like Grey’s Anatomy and 30 Rock airing repeats tonight—we have a few specials to recommend instead. On CBS, Jeff Probst hosts Live For The Moment, an inspirational show that fulfills the wishes of Roger Childs, a man suffering from ALS disease. He gets to visit the Kennedy Space Center and watch a shuttle launch with Buzz Aldrin, fly in a fighter jet and go helicopter skiing. Make sure that you have the tissues on stand-by!
VH1 Storytellers is back and featuring John Mayer behind the microphone. Here’s your big chance to find out if “Your Body is a Wonderland” was really about his ex Jennifer Love Hewitt and what new songs were perhaps inspired by his other famous exes like say Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston!
And for those of you that love American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance—those worlds collide on Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV. This fifth season kicks off tonight with a new face at the judges table. Omarion joins JC Chasez and Lil Mama!
