TV: Thursday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 9:40 a.m. ET
Thursday nights and NBC traditionally equaled must-see TV. Thursdays was the home of such beloved NBC hits like The Cosby Show and Friends. Well, we’re happy to announce that with their current line-up of Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office and 30 Rock—Thursday nights on NBC are back on track!
Tonight on Community, Jeff (the hilarious Joel McHale) attempts to woo his statistics professor. If you’ve been watching the show, then you know that nothing ever goes smoothly for him—especially in the romance department!
And Parks and Recreation debuted last season with high hopes—especially since it was helmed by the uber funny Amy Poehler. It was a bit disappointing—at first—but this season it’s living up to our expectations. Tonight, Leslie (Poehler) deals with a teen vandal that’s tormenting her!
On The Office (which has hit a high this season with storylines such as Jim and Pam’s wedding and Michael dating Pam’s mom), the gang organizes a haunted house for children in the community while Michael falls into a koi pond at a business meeting.
And 30 Rock, just doesn’t miss a beat. Tonight, Liz and Jack visit Kenneth’s hometown to find their next star while Jenna befriends the writers to secure her place on the show. Tracey, however, is freaked out that two celebrities have died—so naturally he thinks he’ll be the next to go!
