TV: Thursday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 10:16 a.m. ET
The stress of the holiday season is upon us! So, let’s take tonight to laugh, shall we?
Community is one of those comedies that is just so out there and so politically incorrect—and we just can’t get enough. Joel McHale is hilarious as a former lawyer turned community college student. And Ken Jeong (from The Hangover fame) as an irreverent Spanish teacher is just brilliant. Tonight, Jeff (McHale) and Senor Chang (Jeong) team up and form an unlikely alliance that you know is going to be pure comedic genius!
Over on The Office—making Jim and Michael co-managers of the Scranton branch this season has made for some of the funniest and even poignant moments on the show in a long, long time. And now that everyone is freaking out that Dunder Mifflin may be going bankrupt? Well, the anxiety makes for a nervous Michael to bring Andy, Dwight and Oscar along for moral support to a shareholders meeting in NYC.
And, 30 Rock goes green tonight as Kenneth attempts to make TGS environmentally friendly—and any eco conscious episode wouldn’t be complete without a cameo from former Vice President Al Gore!
