TV: Saturday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 8:42 a.m. ET
Even with all the new series and season premieres happening this week, Saturday night is still not exactly a hotbed of activity. Still, if you’re spending the night at home, there are things worth tuning in to.
We have to be honest—Cops is always a great show for amusement. Tonight, the police in Palm Beach County, Fl break-up a domestic dispute between a 52-year-old man and his—wait for it—elderly parents. We couldn’t make this up if we tried . . .
But if you’re looking for something with a little more heart, than WE is the place to be with their series The Locator and The Adoption Diaries. On The Locator, a woman tries to arrange a reunion between a woman and the daughter she gave up for adoption during a difficult period in her life. And on The Adoption Diaries, a pregnant woman who already has a young son decides to give the baby on the way up for adoption since she’s already struggling to raise her young son.
