TV: Monday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 9:49 a.m. ET
A few weeks ago, James Lafferty directed an episode of One Tree Hill and tonight, Sophia Bush takes her turn behind the camera. In her episode, Bush’s character Brooke gets some shocking news that could threaten her relationship with Julian. But, murderer Dan’s return to Tree Hill as an alleged “changed” man is where the real drama will take place.
There’s a lot happening over on Gossip Girl tonight. Jenny, who originally could care less about being the “Queen Bee,” tries to seize an opportunity to become queen of the entire Upper East Side. We wonder what Blair is gonna say about that! Meanwhile, this may be the end of the road for Dan and Olivia (Hilary Duff) as she wrestles with staying at NYU or leaving to film a movie. But, listen closely to the music because one of the highlights of tonight’s show is the prominence of Leighton Meester and Robin Thicke’s single “Somebody to Love.”
Oh, and in case you still care about the Gosselins? There’s a new episode of Jon and Kate Plus Eight featuring the top moments of the show picked by the viewers.
