The star power on the Red Carpet just got a whole lot brighter.

TV Guide Network Wednesday announced it has inked Dancing With The Stars stunner Carrie Ann Inaba and Bachelor dreamboat Chris Harrison to anchor their awards show coverage, starting with the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards, slated to be held September 12 at LA's Nokia Theatre.

The duo will also work the red carpet for TV guide during other major award ceremonies, such as the Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG Awards, and of course, the Oscars.

“Carrie Ann Inaba and Chris Harrison are two of the highest profile faces on television today, who bring an instant connection with millions of fans at home and familiar, friendly faces to stars walking the Red Carpet,” TV Guide president Ryan O’Hara said. “Partnering with talent of their caliber is a huge win for us as we continue TV Guide Network’s transformation as a programming destination that celebrates the best and brightest stars in the world of entertainment.”

The stars were equally excited about branding themselves under the timeless TV Guide banner.

Carrie Ann Inaba said she was "thrilled to join TV Guide Network during such an exciting phase of its evolution," while Chris Harrison said the team of him and Inaba would "make the Red Carpet experience fun and enjoyable for both the stars and the fans at home.”
