TV: Friday Hot List

We love that Friday night TV is all about brides and mom’s-to-be. TLC is debuting a brand new show called Happily Ever Faster  that chronicles the craziness that ensues at a Las Vegas wedding chapel! Two back-to-back episodes premiere with a pregnant bride afraid that her dress won’t fit over her bump and a Trekkie wedding that is desperately wants William Shatner himself to serve as the best man. Ahh—only in Vegas folks, only in Vegas!

Then there’s Say Yes to the Dress—the only show on TV where you can see a bride’s family fly to NYC specifically for a “dress intervention.” Another bride invites her mother-in-law to be to attend her fitting—did we mention that they’ve only met twice? Let the sparks fly!

And then there’s Platinum Babies that features the most over the top, out of control, lavish ways couples prepare for the arrival of their precious bundles of joy. Tonight, meet Betsy and Brad—they spend $20,000 on a bridal shower tea party! Oh wait—there’s more. They also hire a baby proofer to the stars come to their home and make sure the delivery will take place in an ultra modern birthing suite.
