TV: Friday Hot List
July 16 2009, Published 6:00 a.m. ET
There’s not a whole lot of must-see TV on tonight as we head into Labor Day weekend (have no fear, lots of fall premieres happening next week) but you can absolutely make due if you’re spending the night cuddled up on the couch.
FOX is repeating the pilot episode of Glee and if you did not catch it back in May and want to see what all the hype is about—then you cannot afford to miss it! This snarky and smart comedy focuses on a group of high school misfits in the Glee Club and the teacher that’s desperate to make them stand-outs. You can’t, however, miss songs like Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab” performed choir style!
And the best part of Friday night has to be Joel McHale and The Soup on E!. The comedian breaks down the best (and worst) of TV from the week with a focus on reality shows and talk shows (his favorite being Wendy Williams—you gotta watch him rip her apart week after week if you want a deep, belly laugh)!
