Keep your clicker in hand to party hop all over the channels as America’s birthday bashes abound tonight!
You'll definitely want to bounce back and fourth as Jimmy Smits hosts Capital Fourth, a musical special from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capital to celebrate America’s 233rd birthday! And in true PBS fashion they have a little bit of something for everyone! From Barry Manilow and Aretha Franklin, to Natasha Bedingfield and the cast of Sesame Street! Then click over to NBC for the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular! Manhattan’s 33rd annual fireworks extravaganza kicks off with performances by Rob Thomas, Jewel and the cast of Broadway’s West Side Story, and of course the night wouldn’t be complete without a killer fireworks display from both shows! Happy Birthday USA!
Looking for a different kind of 4th of July entertainment? The Twilight Zone marathon continues all day and night into the wee hours of the morning on SCI FI, OR if you're in the mood for a little funny with your holiday celebration, Comedy Central has a marathon of comic geniuses performing some of their best 1 hour specials all day as well, including, Dave Chapel, Dane Cook and Chris Rock.
