Paula Abdul is going to shake-up Lifetime.
Paula has signed on to play a fictionalized version of herself on Lifetime’s upcoming drama series, Drop Dead Diva.
The American Idol judge will don a robe and play a court judge in one episode of the series, which stars Brooke Elliott as a former skinny model who dies and wakes up in the body of a plus-sized attorney named Jane.
Judge Paula, or “Your Honor Paula Abdul,” appears in a dream sequence.
