Want to try and improve upon a classic? Now you can.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary David Bowie's classic Space Oddity, which was released in tandem with the Apollo 11 moon landings, Virgin/EMI is releasing four versions of the classic track, and a new remix application for the iPhone and iPod touch.
The remix option is available to fans using their own software, or iKlax software, via the application called Remix David Bowie – Space Oddity, available now on the iTunes App Store. All original elements of the song -- including vocals, acoustic 12-string guitar, drums and bass, mellotron, organ and guitars, guitar solo, strings and other orchestration -- are available via the application.
