Life has a lot less drama but still plenty of emotion this season on Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, her reality series that returns to E! Sunday, June 7.

For one thing, Denise and her sister Michelle try to ease their widowed dad Irv back into the dating game.

Her mom Joni died from cancer in November 2007 and Irv has lived part time with Denise ever since.

“My parents were married 37 years so my dad hadn’t dated since 1970,” Denise told RadarOnline.com.

“I had to tell dad that things are really different now on the dating scene.

“I’m not sure he’s quite ready for it.”

Without giving too much away, Irv isn’t yet ready to remarry but he did have a “pleasant” date, said Denise and asked the woman out again.

“I give him a lot of credit for getting out there but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t hard on me to see him with another woman.”

Denise hasn’t yet found the man of her dreams either.

“I’d love to remarry and find a partner to be with forever,” she said.

But her relationship with ex-husband Charlie Sheen has settled down considerably.

“Charlie had no issue with our girls being on the show this season,” she said of their daughters Sam, 5, and Lola, 4.

“The girls are great but they are on a lot less than last year because this season focuses so much on my career.”

Shot from December through the end of May, the eight-episode season includes behind-the-scenes footage of Denise on “Dancing with the Stars” and her “Funny or Die” video that became an internet sensation.
