Jon and Kate Gosselin may be waiting until Monday to formally announce their plans to split but that hasn’t stopped Jon Gosselin from shopping for his new bachelor pad, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

On June 18 he took a walk through Trump Place in New York City.  “Yes, he was looking there,” a well-placed source said.

Gosselin was spotted at the building on Manhattan’s West Side with one of the sales reps, and seemed especially interested in a unit on the 8th floor.

According to City Realty, the company that represents Trump Place, apartments range in price anywhere from $1.5 million for a one bedroom, to $6.6 million for a four bedroom apartment.  There are also apartments available for rent.  And while Donald Trump is the public face of the luxury complex, he does not own it.

As RadarOnline has been exclusively reporting, Jon and Kate Gosselin plan to announce they are splitting on their June 22 episode.  They have been living apart for months and both have been consulting attorneys.
