In Big Bang Mini, your objective is to destroy wave upon wave of enemies which in turn, light up the night sky with beautiful bursts of colorful fireworks. Some interesting enemies produce larger stars than others and are more difficult to destroy. Don’t fret., certain levels will reward you with special upgrades to your standard gun that will assist you in battling these over powered, colorful sky piñatas. Gameplay wise the DS stylus is used to dodge enemy fire and debris, as well as collecting stars that help create brilliant displays of light with your pyrotechnic prowess.

Don’t be fooled by its adorable neon-styled graphics, Big Bang Mini can be incredibly challenging once the player reaches the later levels.  This title also effectively takes advantage of the DS unique capabilities, offering fantastic visuals, great music and innovative control schemes at an attractive price point ($19.99). Big Bang Mini packs a challenge that any casual or hardcore shooter fan will enjoy without making a hole in your wallet!
