Allison Iraheta, the talented 17-year-old who was the last girl standing during this season's American Idol competition, has gone pro.
The redhead inked a pact with 19 Recordings and has licensed her recordings to Jive Records, the company said Wednesday in a press release.
"I think I'm still in shock that this is happening," Iraheta said. "Getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!"
Iraheta, a native of Downey, California, will reunite with her Idol colleagues this summer on the American Idols Live! Tour 2009 which kicks off in Portland, Oregon, on July 5. (Photo: WENN)
