UPDATE: Rapper's Accused Killer Faces Judge Friday

The 23-year-old Atlanta man accused of killing 21-year-old rapper Dolla at the Beverly Center shopping complex in Los Angeles earlier this week will hear the charges levied against him Friday, authorities said.
Aubrey Louis Berry, in custody in lieu of $5 million bail, will officially be charged with murder and two counts of assault with a firearms, officials said. The Monday shooting was not caught on tape, according to officials.
Dolla, whose real name was Roderick Burton, had traveled to Los Angeles to record his first album, officials said.
Berry's attorney, Howard Price, told reporters the accused murderer is a college grad with no arrest record, and was acting in self-defense when the shooting occurred. (Photo: WENN)
