Simon Wants "Rock Star" President To Show Up On Idol

American Idol's stage has hosted a veritable who's who of the country's brightest talents.

But there is one rather recognizable American that judge and TV producer Simon Cowell would love to see step foot on the glitzy blue monstrosity: President Barack Obama.

"Listen, we would put out an invitation on a daily basis to get him on the show," Cowell told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'd love him to come on, his wife to come on, kids to come on.
