Ponzi flimflam king Bernie Madoff's behavior rivaled that of Larry David's character on Curb Your Enthusiasm, his ex-secretary Eleanor Squillari, told Vanity Fair in an upcoming article.
"He liked to find your weak spot and poke at you with his sarcastic humor," she said of Madoff. "He had to take everything way too far."
David's persona on the show is that of a wealthy, neurotic intellectual with an air of sarcasm and propensity for conflict.
She said that when she told her ex-boss of the similarities, Madoff would respond he was "a lot better-looking."
Squillari intimated that Madoff might have been as horny as he was greedy, as the 70-year-old would peruse X-rated massage ads regularly, sometimes even setting up a midday rendezvous with a masseur during in the middle of a working day (In an ironic twist, Larry David's character visited a friendly masseur in the second season of the series).

"He'd return an hour or so later, always in a much better mood," she said.
Squillari said she told Madoff, that if outsiders learned of his fondness for the massage table, "They're going to think you're a pervert."
She said other unprofessional workplace behavior Madoff included repeated attempts to pat her "on the ass," and tell her he knew she was excited when he would emerge from his office bathroom zipping up his fly. (Photo: Retna)
