All is not well in Oz.

A temporary restraining order has been granted against a woman who served as caretaker for one of the last living Munchkins from “The Wizard of Oz.”

Mickey Carroll played the part of the Munchkinland Town Crier in the famous movie and died May 7. RadarOnline.com has obtained court papers showing his niece and nephew obtained a TRO against Linda Dodge on May 13. They charged that his assets were in imminent danger of being depleted by Dodge and that Dodge had moved him in the last days of his life and cut off contact with relatives.

The court papers put the value of his real property at $132,000 and the value of his personal property at $1 million. His assets include ruby slippers from the movie.

Carroll was born Michael Finocchiaro and was 89 when he died.  The court papers say a doctor diagnosed him with advanced Alzheimer’s Disease and he was incapacitated.

The action was filed in Circuit Court, in St. Louis County, Missouri. A hearing is set for May 27.

In granting the TRO, the Circuit Judge wrote: “…there appears to be wasting and dissipation of the assets of the Estate.”
