Adam Lambert Gets Rushed By Shirtless Fan

As if it wasn’t clear already, American Idol fever is in full swing as is the fervor over frontrunner Adam Lambert.

Making an appearance at his alma mater Mount Carmel High School, the singer got a very enthusiastic surprise after a bra-wearing female rushed onstage to greet him. Not to worry, the fan was quickly whisked away by security. Lambert- looking more amused than concerned- even gave the female a shout out as he took a moment to laugh in disbelief over the scene.
Earlier, he arrived to great pomp (think marching band and cheerleaders) in front of a capacity crowd of 6,000 complete. He was driven around the track in a Ford Mustang before taking the stage to sing two songs.
