Stars Promote Idol Favorites Via Twitter

Twitter, the emerging social network favored by the rich and famous, has a new use -- American Idol politicking.
"My heart breaks for Lil Rounds," Nicole Richie wrote on her page. "I think they are unfair to her, she has an amazing voice you can't argue with that."
Samantha Ronson turned off her personal drama for at least a few hours, opting to watch, and make her thoughts known, on last night's competition. Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend asked Twitter nation: "What's Matt Giraud's number on Idol? I wanna vote for him!!!!"
