Idol's Seacrest To Pickler: "The Calamari's That Way"

Country crooner Kelly Pickler has returned to the stage that made her a star.
Pickler appeared on American Idol Thursday night, performing a single from her self-titled album, Best Days of Your Life, a song the 22-year-old North Carolina native co-wrote with rising country star Taylor Swift.
After the performance, she received a standing ovation from Paula Abdul, a flirty glance from Simon Cowell, and the the dry wit of host Ryan Seacrest.

Directing her off the stage, Seacrest told the sometimes-ditsy Pickler, who once clarified to a nationwide audience that squid was known as calamari, "The calamari's that way."
