Idol: Radar's Song Suggestions For Adam Lambert

Let's start out by starting the obvious -- Adam Lambert will steal tonight's American Idol show.
Still, the 27-year-old singing sensation from Los Angeles has quite the decision to make concerning song selection, as tonight's gimmick calls for contestants to bellow tunes from their birth year.
That being the case, we here at RadarOnline.com have some 1982 song suggestions Lambert could undoubtedly dazzle with.
Eye Of The Tiger, Survivor: This song, synonymous with Rocky and sporting events, would complement Lambert's rich vocals. Plus, the lyrics spell out ironically when compared to Lambert's quest to capture season eight, as he is certainly rising up to the challenge of his rivals.
Tainted Love, Soft Cell: Emotion, passion and personality is what takes for an Idol contestant to own this song, and Lambert's got plenty of all three. Perhaps a sore memory of love lost would help get him to the right place to belt this one out.
Heat Of The Moment, Asia: Retro, but contemporary at the same time (the song has been featured in recent media like the Guitar Hero video game and The 40-Year-Old-Virgin movie), the song is catchy and familiar enough to pop the crowd. Lambert would make the Asia guys proud, no doubt.
Get Down On It, Kool and The Gang: Lambert's charisma is a huge boon to his chances; this not-so-subtle tune would undoubtedly accentuate that showmanship and likely induce a firestorm of votes.
American Idol airs tonight on Fox at 8/7c.
