Adam Lambert might be leaps and bounds over fellow American Idol contestants, but the weekly influx of star power he shares the stage with must be keeping him a little humble.
Wednesday's episode was no different, as two of the brightest young stars in show business -- Jennifer Hudson and Miley Cyrus -- treated the audience to stellar performances during the show's Hollywood-themed week.
Cyrus, the recent target of a vicious Jamie Foxx diatribe (and subsequent apology), looked like a prom queen in her lavender dress while performing her song, The Climb. The second-generation entertainer's film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, is currently the top-earning film in the country.
