The news is finally confirmed.  MTV has announced The Hills will be back this fall without everyone’s favorite girl, Lauren Conrad.  The episodes airing will be a continuation of Season five, and we’re sure it’ll showcase Heidi and Spencer’s wedding, where Heidi was decked out in a $1,019,000 outfit.

“Spencer and Heidi will be newlyweds so the stakes are higher than ever before for the two to make things work,” says MTV.

There will be new “fresh faces” on the show, as well as favorites sister She-Pratt Stephanie, along with on again off again lovebirds Audrina and Justin Bobby, Brody, and Lo.

MTV says fans of the show “Will find out life in Los Angeles only gets more complicated as friendships, relationships and loyalties are tested like never before.”

And how do the cast members feel about doing the show without Lauren?  Holly Montage, Heidi’s sister who was a bridesmaid in the wedding this past weekend told RadarOnline.com exclusively “I know that Lauren will be sorely missed regardless of if she’s on the Hills or not, the public will miss her, she’s a great person!”
