American Idol Announces Summer Tour Dates

Tickets for the annual American Idol tour, featuring the show's top ten finalists fresh off their televised competition, will go on sale May 9, according to tour officials.
The tour begins blazing its trail July 5 in Portland, Ore., then loops through the country before finishing in New Hampshire on Sept. 15.
The tour is comprised of Idol talents Adam Lambert, Allison Iraheta, Anoop Desai, Danny Gokey, Kris Allen, Lil Rounds, Matt Giraud, Megan Joy, Michael Sarver and Scott MacIntyre.

In the meantime, Lambert, the odds-on favorite, will look to keep his momentum going in the competition's upcoming disco-themed week, which happens next Tuesday on Fox at 8/7c.
