Lauren Conrad Dresses Down Rumors In Blog

Lauren Conrad's clothing line has not been discontinued or dropped, but rather is on hiatus so she can make some necessary changes, The Hills star says on her MySpace blog.
"The truth is I was the one who asked to take a couple seasons off," Conrad wrote. "I have learned so much in the past year and I want to apply that to the improvement of my clothing line. I also wanted to make some changes in production so I would be able to lower the price point."

Conrad, currently filming her final season on The Hills, said she is excited to begin the process and is planning to bring the line back a year from now.
Her collection debuted in autumn of 2007, highlighted by jersey dresses she named after her friends.
