Cops: Shawn Johnson "Stalker" Charged With Stalking, Firearm Violations

Robert Michael O'Ryan, the Florida man arrested on trespassing charges after trying to jump a fence onto the Dancing With The Stars set to meet contestant Shawn Johnson, was charged by the District Attorney's office Thursday with stalking and carrying loaded firearms.
O'Ryan was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday, Los Angeles Deputy Dist. Atty. Wendy Segall, of the Stalking and Threat Assessment Team, said. He faces up to four years if convicted.
O'Ryan is currently in custody in lieu of $35,000 bail; prosecutors have formally requested the bail amount to be raised to $220,000.
O'Ryan was originally taken into custody on suspicion of carrying a loaded firearm in public, after he allegedly attempted to jump a fence onto the CBS Studios lot to meet the Olympian gymnast.
"On March 23rd, LAPD Wilshire Division responded to the block of 7800 Beverly Blvd," police told RadarOnline.com. "Security had called regarding a person that was trespassing. Security was holding the suspect, 34-year-old Robert O'Ryan of Florida. The LAPD searched the suspect's car, and they found several firearms.The suspect was arrested for illegally possessing firearms and he is currently being held on $35,000 bail."

When searching O'Ryan's vehicle, police said they found a loaded handgun and shotgun, as well as duct tape and love letters. CBS security guards reported they found an expired concealed weapons permit in the vehicle.
RadarOnline.com has learned that a restraining order has been issued against the man, and could be extended in a hearing next month. Johnson's mother Teri said in a sworn statement that officials told her O'Ryan believes he was meant to have a child with her daughter, Shawn. The statement claimed the Olympian is in fear of her life because of O'Ryan's actions.
Los Angeles police say that O'Ryan is currently being held at the LAPD Wilshire Division; no mug shots have been released .
