Here's your chance to be a STAR! You always knew you could be a big music star if given the chance, right? The new Wii game, with the not-so snappy title, "Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol Encore 2 with Microphone", gives you the chance to show off your chops to Simon, Paula, and Randy.

Now there's no guarantee Simon won't trash you, but with this game at least you get more than one chance at the spotlight.

More fun than the first version of the game, this one boasts better graphics, more accurate judging  40 all new "hit songs" from the 70s to the present, two player duets or "battles", and more options for making your all-important Avatars.(We chose kinda a Carrie Underwood look. Couldn't hurt.)

How about belting it out to "What a Girl Wants" and trying to earn that elusive "golden ticket" to the elimination round in Hollywood, while your friends jeer you on? Perfect for parties since multiple game modes let up to 8 players compete at the same time. Our fave judge, Simon Cowell, who has probably NEVER played the game but admired his avatar said: "Over the years American Idol has produced some amazingly talented singers, but let's be honest most of the people who turn up for the auditions is useless. For anyone who wants to know what it's like to audition in front of me, now you're about to find out. This game is a great representation of American Idol."
