Kathryn Dennis is fighting to get back custody of her kids, and started by making amends with baby daddy Thomas Ravenel at their son's birthday party!

Dennis, 24, attended St. Julien Rembert's first birthday celebration for an upcoming episode of Southern Charm — and RadarOnline.com has the awkward clip from the festivities.

"Oh, you're mother's here," Ravenel, 54, told their daughter Kensie, 3, as she played nearby.

Dennis hadn't seen Ravenel or their kids for at least a month before then, as she was in a rehab facility.

"Hello stranger," Dennis smiled as she uncomfortably hugged her ex and the two made awkward small talk.

Then, Dennis immediately went over to spend time with Kensie — but the toddler was more interested in her sweet tea than her mom!

Dennis then asked where the birthday boy was, and went to pick up St. Julien. Sadly, she couldn't keep his attention either!

RadarOnline.com reported that ethereality couple's custody battle has only gotten worse since St. Julien's birthday was caught on film, as Dennis recently accused Ravenel of "alienating" her from their children in explosive court documents. In the same filing, she also accused Ravenel of sleeping with their nanny's teenage daughter.

She has posted pictures with the babies on social media since, but it was unclear when the photos were taken.
