'Shahs' Worst Nightmare! Shervin Tells All On ‘Scary’ Israeli Airport Detaining

Shervin Roohparvar was able to check Israel off his “bucket list,” but can exclusively reveal that he had a rough start to his trip!

The Shahs of Sunset star was detained in an Israeli airport — and had to Google himself to prove his identity!

“It was kind of scary,” the entrepreneur told “There was a moment that I kind of looked around and my cast mates were scared. I was like ‘there’s nothing to be scared of. The worst thing that happens is that they send us home.’”

“They really don’t care if you are with Bravo, there to film,” he said of the strict airport security. “They don’t care. They’re doing their job. They want to know every single person that comes into their country and why. It’s understandable.”

“There was no special treatment or anything like that,” he said. “We were shoved into a little room and sat there for a few hours and some of us got pulled into interrogation rooms and got interrogated.”

Roohparvar, 36, even explained that one of his cast members was forced to Google herself to prove who she was!

“In all fairness, we’re not a normal group of six people,” he laughed. "After a long flight with an eclectic group of outgoing personalities like us, who all needed sleep, we can be a lot to handle all at once.”

“We didn’t look that great coming in,” he joked. “I would’ve stopped us!”

Luckily, the cast was able to stay in Israel and Roohparvar teased that it was a trip of a lifetime.
