‘Oil & Vinegar:’ The Battle Between Ramona & Bethenny Rages On

Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer picked up their unending fight once again on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.

During a post-Vermont, pre-Mexico dinner outing coordinated by the ever well-meaning Dorinda Medley, the New York ladies went head to head when the topic of Bethenny’s upcoming Mexico trip came up.

Bethenny had hoped Ramona could come on the trip later than everyone else with Luann D’Agostino. However, the Countess changed her schedule so she could come the whole time, ruining Bethenny’s plan to only have Ramona there half the time.

Bethenny decided the dinner outing was the perfect time to discuss the trip with Ramona and requested that all her cast mates simply look away as she and Ramona had the awkward discussion right in front of them.

“I’m honestly in a very uncomfortable situation because I’ve invited everybody on the trip, and I haven’t invited you yet, and I’m not going to exclude you,” Bethenny began smoothly. “I’m very uncomfortable because of the way you treated me for a while, and I don’t know how to move forward.”

Bethenny then accused Ramona of being “disingenuous” and making her feel like a failure, which Ramona denied (despite it being caught on tape). Naturally, things immediately took a turn for the worse between the two women.

“Don’t be like you’re Miss Perfect, because you’ve said some very nasty things, too,” Ramona replied, before snapping entirely.

“Don’t attack my business because I support my family and I gave f*****g half my money to my husband, that I was married to for 30 years. You were only married two. Talk to me when you’re married to someone for 30 years,” Ramona’s unhinged tangent began.

“My f*****g heart was cut out, my legs and my arms. So don’t even tell me, don’t even try to compare your life to mine. Don’t. Don’t. Just don’t, Bethenny. Have more respect for me. Have more respect and more sympathy. It’s not always about you,” she finally finished.

Disturbed by Ramona’s rant, Bethenny immediately rescinded what little invite to Mexico she’d given her, but Ramona said she was coming anyway.

“Well, it’s a group trip so I’m coming,” she replied.

Meanwhile, the rest of the cast mates pretended to not be paying attention to the ladies’ fight, but Ramona’s emotional rollercoaster was too much for them to ignore.

“This is where Ramona isn’t clever. Just be acquiescent. Just hear her out. Just be an opportunist and get the invitation,” Dorinda joked. “We can work all the other stuff out afterwards, but this is not the place to be assertive and combative.”

As the other women continued to pretend they were deeply involved in their own side conversations, Ramona continued her one-sided fight with Bethenny.

“I care for you in a sense, but I realized you don’t like to be cared for. I’m the mothering type. You don’t want me to mother you,” Ramona said, before describing her and Bethenny as “oil and vinegar.”

“Oil and vinegar go together,” Bethenny replied. “You mean oil and water.”

In an effort to shut down the never-ending conversation, Bethenny suggested she and Ramona agree to a pact to not say nasty things about each other and “move forward.”

“I just agreed to a bag of bulls**t,” Bethenny then joked. “This is a bag of hot steamy bulls**t.”
