Prince William And Princess Kate had a 'love match' at Wimbledon.

The royal couple went on a tennis date for the men's final leaving Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2, at home.

They both dressed smartly for the occasion at center court where they watched Roger Federer defeat Croatian Marin Cilic 6-3, 6-1, 6-4 to claim his eighth Wimbledon title.

Kate had attended the famous tournament earlier in the week where she debuted her new 'kob' hairstyle.

Although she loves to watch tennis she admitted recently that she can never quite master it.

She said: in a BBC documentary: "Every time Wimbledon is on I am there thinking, 'Yes, I could do the same' and get out the racket. Sadly, never the same results!"

The famous couple are about to embark on a trip to Germany and Poland with their two children starting on Monday.
