O.J. Simpson was caught enjoying a meal at McDonalds, moments after being released from prison early Sunday morning. As RadarOnline.com has learned, the ex-football star was finally set free after serving nine years behind bars for his armed robbery and kidnapping crime of 2008.

Media expected the famous criminal to be released Monday afternoon, yet instead he walked out of Lovelock at 12am on Sunday. Newly free Simpson was not seen outside prison until a cameraman found him sitting in a car at a gas station on his way to Las Vegas.

"It's none of your business," said the star when the man asked him about his future plans, "nothing has changed."

While during his parole hearing Simpson, 70, claimed he wanted to live in Florida, Probation Capt. Shawn Arruti told The Associated Press that he did not have permission to leave Nevada.

Just last week, Simpson's attorney claimed his client was looking forward to enjoying the "very simple pleasures" of life, such as eating steak ad buying a new iPhone. His first meal, however, was less than glamorous, as he was caught chowing down on McDonalds after being escorted out of jail.

"He said, 'It's better than prison food, but it's not what it's all cracked out to be,'" Simpson's attorney, Malcolm LaVergne, told the Daily News. "He was happy to be eating something on the outside," he said.

O.J. Simpson now faces restrictions during five years of parole supervision, which could be reduced for good behavior. He is prohibited from using illegal drugs and can drink alcohol only if the amount is below Nevada's blood-alcohol limit for driving. He is also banned from associating with felons or anyone who Nevada officials prohibit him from contacting.
