Molly Shannon Defends 'Kind' Sarah Jessica Parker Amid Kim Cattrall Feud
Molly Shannon is standing up for her beloved costar Sarah Jessica Parker, amid the star's explosive feud with Kim Cattrall!
In a Saturday interview with ET, the Divorce actress spoke of her great friendship with Parker, 52, while admitting she hadn't read about her online catfight with Cattrall, 61.
"I know for me," said Shannon, 53, "Sarah is just so supportive and so wonderful and we just get along so well. It doesn't really feel like work because we have so much in common, and she loves funny women and is just so genuinely supportive and kind, and like a 'girls' girl.' So, I just feel lucky that I get to work with her."
Shannon went on to say that she felt extremely "lucky" to get to work with Parker, who in her eyes, is "true Hollywood royalty."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Cattrall clearly thinks otherwise.
The infamous Samantha actress has long spoken of how horribly she was reportedly treated by Parker during their years filming Sex and the City. She even recently reposed an article saying just that! A friend of hers – whose quotes were included in the article – even told reporters that the reason Cattrall refused to return for a third film was because Parker treated her "horribly" for six years! She and her costars apparently wouldn't even talk to her in the makeup room because they were jealous that she started off as the biggest star in the show.
While their feud has been going on for years, it recently reached new fiery heights when Parker reached out to Cattrall following her brother's death.
After the man's tragic passing, Parker took to Instagram to send a very public message to Cattrall voicing her condolences. "Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and your and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx," she wrote at the time. Cynthia Nixon also commented on Cattrall's post.

While some saw SJP's comments as an act of kindness, Cattral saw it as a just another hypocritical move on her ex-costar's part.
"I don't need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker," Cattrall viciously responded.
"My Mom asked me today 'When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already) You are not my family," Cattrall added. "You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."
Could this feud get any worse?
