Lamar Odom is suffering from kidney complications two weeks after his overdose at a Nevada brothel, RadarOnline.com has learned, and doctors are very concerned.
According to an Odom insider, "Lamar is suffering from complications because of the kidney failure. The dialysis is messing up Lamar's ability to think and speak clearly, which is one of the reasons his doctors are unsure about the extent of any permanent brain damage."
In addition, the source told Radar, "Lamar has also had some heart problems as his blood pressure has gotten low during the dialysis."
Meanwhile, Kardashian has reportedly vowed that she'll leave Odom again if he continues to use drugs, despite her decision to ditch their divorce plans. Prior to his downturn in health, Odom had been linked to drugs ranging from marijuana to oxycontin to cocaine to heroin.
Though the outcome of their reunion is still up in the air, one thing's for sure: "This is going to be a very, very long recovery for Lamar....we are talking six months to a year," the source said. "If he needs a kidney transplant, even longer. The reality is setting in for Lamar that he will probably never play basketball professionally ever again."
