In a rare move, a longtime member of Kanye West's inner circle has spoken out, begging the tortured rapper to seek mental and spiritual counseling.
Rhymefest, the Grammy and Oscar award winning co-writer of Yeezy's hits "Jesus Walks" and "New Slaves" took to Twitter to plead with West to find healing through a professional. "My brother needs help, in the form of counseling. Spiritual & mental," the Chicago-based writer tweeted. "He should step away from the public & yesmen & heal."
According to Us Weekly, Rhymefest and West parted ways last month when the writer walked away from West's just-released album, The Life Of Pablo.
As RadarOnline.com reported, West's family and fans have noted Kanye's shocking recent behavior, which was put on live display during his performance on last night's SNL.
To make matters worse, the rapper, who has famously claimed that he will never be broke, recently revealed that he is $53 million deep in personal debt as rumors swirl of a forthcoming divorce from his wife, Kim Kardashian.
