Battle of the dance teachers?

Cheryl Burke, who replaced Abby Lee Miller as the teacher on Dance Moms, has implied that she "Broke the curse" in an Instagram post about the troubled reality show.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, it was recently announced that legally challenged Miller was replaced on Dance Moms by former Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke.

Miller, 50, faces up to 30 months in prison on bankruptcy fraud charges and the reality TV coach quit Dance Moms a month ahead of her May 8 court sentencing date.

Then Burke, 32, who wasn't appearing on DWTS this season, was hired as Miller's replacement on the Lifetime show.

And in a cryptic Saturday Instagram post, Burke wrote, "Broke the Curse #dancemoms" for a caption on a photo featuring her young student stars.

The intriguing cast photo features Chloe Lukasiak, Camryn Bridges, Nia Sioux and Reagan Martin wearing black hooded dance ensembles.

In another weekend Instagram post, Burke showed herself posing with Dance Moms cutie Lukasiak, both dressed up in dog snouts, with the caption "Puppy love."

And Burke also took to Instagram to post a selfie with some of the Dance Moms girls, all pursing their lips. Burke captioned it, "Comp kisses."

Miller just told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview that she's afraid of a prison sentence.

"I think I’m afraid of the actual logistics," she admitted at the Star party. "Where I’m going to be. What it’s going to be like and all that stuff."

Miller also told PEOPLE she feared rape behind bars.

As for Dance Moms, Miller told E! News "The drama just got bigger and bigger and louder and louder, and I thought, 'Oh, my god. This is destroying my livelihood, which is my studio business.' The TV show can end at any minute. They've been very clear telling me that in my contract," she shared.

While under the cloud of her bankruptcy fraud case, Miller talked about Burke as her replacement.

"If she had to go what I go through every day, I would be flipping thrilled that somebody else in the entertainment industry who has the career that she has had on Dancing With the Stars... and then had to step down to this? Oh, honey," Miller said.

"I think they will treat her differently. I think everybody will be on their toes. I think that Lifetime will pour a ton of money into advertising because they want to prove that I was nothing and I was nobody and they saved me."

In quitting Dance Moms, Miller raged that she had been disrespected and used by producers.

While it's not clear that Burke was calling out Miller directly in her breaking the "curse" Instagram post, the former "DWTS" regular pro's fans saw it that way. As one wrote on Instagram, "OMG . . . This is amazing!!
