Catelynn Baltierra Leaves Rehab After Suicide Fears & Heartbreaking Miscarriage
Catelynn Baltierra is out of rehab, and finally coming clean about her shocking miscarriage. On this Monday's episode of Teen Mom OG, the star revealed her suicidal thoughts and devastating heartbreak after losing her unborn child.
Catelynn, 25, confirmed the sad miscarriage news with her doctor during the show, while husband Tyler Baltierra spoke to the MTV producer, Kerthy, about the incident.
"It's very traumatic. When you see her shaking and she's got blood everywhere, it's like … you don't really know what to do," he said on camera. "She kind of cleaned herself up, and we kind of figured out what was going on. Spotting is normal, but all the clotting is not. So we just saw on the bed and cried. We just held each other. There's nothing you can really do."
"That baby may have not been fully grown in the womb...but it was fully grown in our hearts. For every parent out there who has lost a baby...it is not your fault & it is more than acceptable & understandable to mourn the loss of that baby & take your time to grieve #ParentStrong" Tyler tweeted after the episode aired.
Kerthy also confronted Tyler about the fact that Catelynn had suicidal thoughts after losing her baby.
"When we got out of yoga, she called my phone, and when we started talking to her, she said she wanted to kill herself," Kerthy told the star.
Later on in the episode, Catelynn herself spoke to Tyler's mother about her dark thoughts.
"I contemplated every single way that I could kill myself today," she said over the phone.
"Honey, you're a great mother, you're a great wife," Kim replied. "And we're going to be praying for you every day."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Catelynn Baltierra checked into rehab for the third time after suffering from debilitating depression following her miscarriage. She had previously gotten treatment for her ongoing issues with childhood trauma.
This Monday, after the episode aired, Catelynn shared a sweet photo with Tyler, writing in the caption: "Finally home and it feels so good!"
