It's day four of Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial, and Richard Schaffer of the Cheltenham Township police, who interviewed the comedian during the 2005 investigation into accuser Andrea Constand's allegations against Cosby, is on the stand.

Schaffer shared with the jury notes he took during the interview with the now 79-year-old while at his lawyers' office in New York in January 2005.

Although much of what Cosby admits in the interview is in line with Constand's own account, the former Temple University employee insists she was not conscious when the alleged sexual assault occurred.

"Did Andrea ever tell you to stop?" the detective conducting the interview asked Cosby.

"No," Cosby said, before the detective asked, "Was Andrea conscious?" the detective asked. "Yes," Cosby replied.

Cosby told police he gave Constand 1-1/2 Benadryl pills after she confided in Cosby that she had trouble sleeping. Cosby says the two then moved to the couch where he says the sex was consensual, they “petted," he said, admitting he touched her breast and vagina. Cosby says Andrea did not tell him to stop or push him away, and claims she was awake, and when asked was able to see and move.
