Bill Cosby conducted a "lifetime of sexual assault on young women," Montgomery County D.A. Kevin Steele bellowed before the comedian, a judge, and others in a Norristown, PA courtroom today, adding that the 79-year-old "shouldn't be rewarded for being good at intoxicating people and putting them in a state where they can't resist."

But Cosby's lawyers were eager to fight back against the charges, with attorney Brian McMonagle stating: “This case was not brought because of Andrea Constand. This is a means by way to overcome statutes of limitations because somebody decided to bang the drum and try to destroy an American citizen."

During the heated pre-trial hearing — on allowing 13 sexual assault accusers to testify during Constand's trial next year — yelling soon erupted in the courtroom, with the actor himself chiming in.

"You don't want to get involved with the Sheriff's Office if you can't control yourselves," Judge Steven O'Neill cut in at point, according to NBC News.

As reported, prosecutors claim the women were drugged and sexually assaulted by Cosby.

But in November, Cosby's attorneys argued that the comedian's accusers must all take competency tests, citing the "tainted, unreliable memories of women, now in their senior years."

Should Judge O'Neil rule to proceed, the trial is set to begin in June.

Strangely, Cosby seemed to be in high spirits in the courthouse, even telling guards as he entered, "Don't tase me, bro," referencing a 2007 meme, according to the Associated Press.
