RadarOnline.com has learned the judge for Bill Cosby’s sexual assault case declared it a mistrial on Saturday morning, June 17, after the jury of seven men and five women couldn’t reach a verdict. At this point, Cosby will remain out on bail.

“The appellate attorney’s have prepared the paperwork,” a source close to the case exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “They will appeal this decision and Bill Cosby will stand trial again for sexual assault.”

The decision took place after more than 50 hours of deliberation in six days over the shamed star’s case.

The first sign of distress that the jury was struggling to agree on a verdict began on Thursday after alerting the judge that they were deadlocked.

On Friday, O’Neill warned Cosby that if a mistrial is declared, the disgraced star could still be retried on the same charges.

The group went back into the deliberation room until 9 p.m. that night. By Saturday morning, they told Judge Steven T. O’Neill they were still deadlocked, to which he made the call to declare it a mistrial over the hung jury.

As RadarOnline.com reported, the 79-year-old former Cosby Show actor faces charges for allegedly drugging and molesting Andrea Constand in his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, mansion in 2004.
