Just two days before Alan Thicke passed away, wife Tanya Thicke shared an adorable photo of the couple to Instagram.
"I've got the cutest designated driver EVER!!!" She captioned the picture, featuring the pair smiling in a car. "JP & @eloisedejoria sure know how to throw a party! Thx you for having us. #friendsforever #patron #family."
The couple married in 2005 in Cabo San Lucas, just one month after announcing their engagement.
"I'll be on my third honeymoon, so I'm more of an authority than I care to be," Thicke joked at the time of their announcement.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, the Growing Pains star died suddenly after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey in Los Angeles with his youngest son, Carter.
According to the manager at the hockey rink, Thicke was still conscious and talking as he was taken into the ambulance, even asking Carter to snap his photo. At the hospital, son Robin, whom Alan had with ex-wife Gloria Loring, joined them, but his father passed away within hours.
In 2014, Thicke told PEOPLE magazine just how much he loved his wife, sharing: "My wife who is a wonderful yin and yang personality — hot and cold — I call her the sexy, lovable tornado is completely fascination and out of control and very sexy."
