Abby Lee Miller is terrified of going to prison, but it hasn't stopped the star from speaking her mind — especially when it comes to defending her actions and mistakes in the bankruptcy fraud scandal.

"I’m just a nice Catholic girl from Pittsburgh. . .I know that I am not a criminal mastermind," the 51-year-old told Extra on Wednesday. "I listened to the wrong people. I trusted people."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Miller was sentenced to one year and one day in prison after being accused of attempting to hide $775,000 of income from her hit show, Dance Moms. The incarceration will be followed by two years of supervised release.

She was fined $40,000 and ordered to pay a $120,000 judgment.

Miller pled guilty to not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets in June 2016.

"People have said, 'Okay, keep your mouth shut, stay to yourself. If there’s an argument, if something’s going on, just look the other way, walk away,'" she continued. "That’s not me!"

Meanwhile, sources told People that Miller will likely only serve 10 months behind bars with an additional few months spent in a halfway house.

"I’m afraid of being physically abused or raped," Miller told the publication earlier this year. "I have to stay busy. If I thought about it every day, I’d just sit around and cry."

As for her more trivial concerns about prison, the Lifetime reality star says she hopes she can wear socks to bed.

"Am I able to wear socks to bed when I sleep at night? Because my feet cramp. Yup, I know that may sound silly, but that is an actual fear,” she told Extra.

Miller's rep told RadarOnline.com the star "will be checking in to prison on June 30."
